General Plan
A complete rewrite of the City’s General Plan was last adopted in December 1999. In May 2002, the City Council approved a variety of changes to several of elements of the General Plan. In February 2022, a new Environmental Justice Element was added to the General Plan. The General Plan’s Housing Element is updated every eight years with the latest update adopted in August 2022.
