The City of San Juan Capistrano invites you to become an Independent Contract Instructor (Instructor) to share your expertise and talents with the community! Instructors offer a wide variety of recreation classes suitable for all age ranges. Instructors do not rent city facilities; however, a portion of the fees collected (70/30 split) are retained to cover facility usage, registration, administration, and promotion of the class.
Instructors must meet the City's requirements for consideration to apply and comply with the City's contract agreement. Upon submitting a complete application Instructors will be required to complete the following:
- Proof of General Liability Insurance
- Live Scan Clearance
- Classroom Setup (if applicable)
- Other required documentation as necessary
