IMPORTANT NOTES: 

• Target Dates are an estimate. 
• Time review may vary depending on complexity of project. 
• Target Dates do not include administrative processing time including department re-stamps, fee calculations and permit processing. 
• The City does not offer expedited review. 

Applicants will be notified via email when all departments have completed their plan check review. All approvals/corrections must be picked up in person.

To check Plan Check / Permit Status, please click on the following link to access the E-Trakit Portal:

Once in the E-Trakit Portal, follow the steps below:

• Enter the 'Permit Number' or use the drop down box to select and enter the 'Site Address'
• Click on the permit to open the file
• Click on the 'Reviews' tab to check the current status of each department review

Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA)

Projects that require OCFA review and approval must be submitted directly to OCFA by the applicant. The City does not route to OCFA.

OCFA plan review takes typically four working weeks but may vary. If you have questions regarding OCFA submittal requirements or status, please contact OCFA at 714-573-6100.
